As the summer winds down, it’s a great chance to reflect on what’s been happening here at the Grainstore. From new businesses joining us to refreshed spaces and community highlights; it’s been a busy and exciting few months.

Welcoming new tenants

It’s been fantastic to see so many new faces move into The Grainstore this summer. Our Tall Building self-storage has been particularly popular with businesses and individuals making the most of the flexible spaces we have on offer, ranging from 20ft2 to 85ft2.

We’ve also welcomed some brilliant new businesses into our wider community:

  • CLS Clothing – a vintage clothing business run by Carla Sainsbur, who joined us in CW12A back in May. Her passion for carefully curated fashion has quickly made her a standout tenant.
  • D&F Creative – a talented carpenter and creative solutions provider, moving in during late spring. They specialise in live marketing, bespoke carpentry, and creative installations for events, helping brands make a lasting impression. Their expertise adds an exciting creative dimension to the Grainstore community.

It’s always exciting to see the variety of skills and industries growing within the Grainstore, from creative craftsmanship to retail and more.

Site updates

We’ve also been busy improving the site itself. Our new communal area, The Forum, was completed earlier this summer – providing tenants with a modern, welcoming space to work, meet and relax. You can read more about it here.

Looking ahead, we’re in the testing stages for painting The Long Building. The George Estates head office team has been busy narrowing down colour choices – watch this space for updates on its refreshed appearance.

The George Estates team also enjoyed some time away from the office this summer, making the most of one of the hottest days of the year with a scenic walk around Sherston, Wiltshire. The day wrapped up with a relaxed pub lunch – a perfect opportunity to recharge, reflect on the season and celebrate the successes of our tenant communities.

We’re pleased to share that we currently have a variety of storage and office spaces available:

  • Flexible self-storage units from 20ft2 to 85ft2, ideal for personal or small business storage.
  • Larger storage units with roller shutter doors ranging from 200ft2 to 500ft2, perfect for larger inventory or equipment.
  • Our LB14 Office; a 203ft2 space, suitable for a growing business seeking a professional base.
