In 2017 the enormous Blandford Forum farm building was in a sorry state of affairs, even from its best side and on a sunny day.

Fast forward two years, and now rebranded as the Grainstore, it is slowly being brought back to life by George Estates

“New ideas need old buildings”

The bulk of the early work took place underground and is now invisible to visitors. This included building new drainage, adding & extending the water supply, upgraded the electric supply, and installing a full fibre broadband connection.

A new car park has been created along with an outside seating area for sunny days. A brand new side entrance path leads to a variety of workshops and storage units on ‘East Street’ and already new tenants are calling the Grainstore “their home”.

We are currently working on two large units at the front of the Grainstore in the low and middle section of the building. A ‘North Street’ will also be created to connect the units & offices to the central ‘Forum’ area.
